EGELHOF Europe 2030: Future through innovation and efficiency
January 2025
The economy has been struggling with a variety of challenges since 2020. In the EGELHOF Group, this particularly affects the two business divisions Automotive Technology and Heating. In addition, the Asian market is ensuring a highly competitive pricing policy.
At the same time, the growth area of thermal management for automobiles offers new prospects. EGELHOF is seizing the opportunities that present themselves and actively shaping the future of the company.
Jobs and expertise will be safeguarded through consolidation and targeted investments.
As part of the strategic realignment to make European production even more efficient, a new plant will be built in Poland and the activities of the French plant in Neuve-Église will be integrated into other locations in 2026. All employees affected by the closure will continue to be employed in nearby Breitenbach. Both there and in Seltz, EGELHOF is focusing on innovative solutions such as electronic expansion valves and electric drives, which not only increase competitiveness, but also further increase local value creation. These measures will strengthen Breitenbach and Seltz even more as high-tech locations of the EGELHOF Group.
With the EGELHOF Europe 2030 strategic plan, production in Europe is making itself fit for the future, reducing costs and creating new prospects. The company is not only reacting to international price pressure, but is also consistently focusing on technical innovations and sustainable structural measures. In this way, EGELHOF is ensuring that the Group will remain strong and fit for the future in 2030.
